For all your marketing efforts there should be a return on what you invest. Whether you spend money or spend your time…your business should begin to grow because of these efforts.
Patience is important; but be prudent as well.
Evaluate your marketing strategy. Set markers so you know if what you’re doing is working. For example you might set a goal to increase traffic to your website by 100 people each week. If that happens then you know your marketing effort is working.
Set a marketing budget and stick to it. Be conservative as you begin. What you don’t want to happen is you pay for ads that don’t bring you any customers. You also don’t want to spend 3-4 hours each day on social media with out any results.
Unfortunately, there is no way to know what will exactly work. Try many different things. Be sure to ask clients that hire you, how they heard about you. Then continue to do those things that bring you clients with the least amount of investment of time and money.
