Joytonia Jackson is a CPI Trainer leading the Doula Birth and Postpartum course and also Childbirth Educator training workshops in Fresno, California. She serves on the Black Infant Health Task force to empower African American women in the California’s Central Valley working to reduce infant mortality and improving birth outcomes for Black families and their babies. She has a BS in Healthcare Administrator Management, and has 20 years experience as an LVN.
She is the CEO and founder of the company Dutchess of Doula. This organization provides prenatal classes, childbirth support, and postpartum care to families in the greater Fresno and Lemoore area. She leads ‘Mommy Talk’ a monthly support group for pregnant moms.
Since 1996 she has worked to support military personnel and their families. Her motto is “empowering your birthing vision in a nurturing supportive environment”.

Training course incorporates all the tasks participants need to complete certification and start working as a professional doula.

Without exception all refund requests must be submitted in writing 30 days before workshop is scheduled to begin. A nonrefundable fee of $75 will be retained in all cases. Late cancellations receive a credit to attend same workshop within 1 year. Credits are not transferable to a different attendee. We extend our empathy to anyone experiencing an unforeseen circumstance including personal or family illness or an emergent event. You may request a credit to attend same workshop led by Joytonia Jackson; must be completed within 1 year of original payment.
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop in response to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, registration fees will be refunded.
